Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsWe operate a two working day repeat prescription service. You will be given a printed slip with each repeat prescription issued which will enable you to tick the appropriate boxes to re-order your medication.

You can order your repeat prescription in several ways.

  • By dropping the printed slip into the box provided at each surgery
  • By posting your request to the surgery and enclosing a stamped addressed envelope if you would like it posted back to you
  • By faxing your request to the surgery
  • By registering for Internet access via the link at the top of this page. Patients who have registered for internet access may also order repeat prescriptions and make appointment via a smartphone. Details of the app can be found on this link.

We ask that all patients who require repeat prescriptions should ensure that they provide their most up to date prescription counterfoil. This helps us to ensure that your medication records are always up to date and that your prescriptions are ready and waiting for you to  collect.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
